Anywhere and everywhere, Ayakamay approaches strangers and offers to clean their ears. Sleep on her lap and relax, forget about everything and let her take you to somewhere you miss, to a space you need, or to a place that you want. It is nostalgic. It is comfort. It is intimate. The trust. We must. With me – your mom, your lover, your child, Ayakamay.

In this nomadic performance, Ayakamay approaches strangers and offers to heal them, providing a meditative experience for spontaneous participants. Her character is a hybrid creature, evoking a motherly figure in costume and behavior while the wig and make-up emphasize a child-like dimension. The performance envisions an intimate space as well as a public discussion; a dialogue between the character, the volunteer and their surroundings which leaves an impression endured beyond the physical experience.
